Schools come in many shapes and sizes and appeal to varied constituents. However, at the core of an effective education is:

Holistic learning: A school needs to avoid the common pitfall of becoming one-dimensional; and

Transparency in Quality: Having a trustworthy, effective and objective way of signalling a school’s focus areas, successes and improvement opportunities.

The WEF certification process, assesses schools on a broad spectrum of criteria (over 200 criteria) categorized under the following categories. The objective is to ascertain an output that is encompassing enough to signal a school’s overall quality; but specific enough to provide a school with a detailed self-analysis to feed into their improvement-planning exercise.
